the ai tutor that helps your users finish the task
Most support bots tell. Clickalong shows.
Clickalong is AI customer support for your SaaS. It answers from the docs you approve. Then it spotlights the next click in your own interface. And when someone needs a person, your team gets the whole thread.
Free plan. No credit card. One script tag and you’re live.
Running today inside our own Shopify apps, AIMP and Canvaloom, answering real merchant questions.
One question. Three ways it ends.
A customer wants to change the billing email. Clickalong can answer it from your docs, walk them to the button, or bring in your team — without anyone losing the thread. Pick one.
Your customers don’t need more instructions. They need to finish the task.
It shows them where to click.
Record the workflow once in Chrome. Clickalong replays it over the real interface your user is already looking at, advancing as they click.
It answers from your product knowledge.
Clickalong reads the documents your team approves. It cites the source, and it says so when your material does not cover the question.
It hands your team the whole thread.
When judgment is needed, the same conversation moves into the shared inbox. Nobody starts the explanation again.
No extra app for your customers. No second thread to chase.

What your team can do with Clickalong.
A question can turn into a tour, a teammate reply, or a product fix. Clickalong keeps all of it on one support record, so the context does not die between tools.
Answer from sources you choose.
Import website pages, files, question and answer entries, Notion pages, or GitHub docs. Clickalong finds the relevant passage, cites it, and says when your material does not support an answer.
- Website, PDF, DOCX, TXT, and CSV imports
- Notion and GitHub sync
- Daily source refresh
- Custom instructions and conversation starters
- Visitor questions answered in their language
Show the next click.
Record a real workflow in Chrome. The tour runs over the customer's own screen and looks for a safe replacement when a target has moved. The tour report shows where people finish and where they stop.
- Chrome tour recorder
- Click-to-advance spotlights
- Safe target recovery
- Completion and drop-off data
- Optional confirmed actions for verified users
Keep every handoff in one thread.
The AI keeps answering while a request waits. Once a teammate replies, that thread stays with the team. The conversation, visitor, page, and account context are already attached.
- Assignment, teams, and tags
- Internal notes and attachments
- Inbox translation
- Reminders and saved replies
- Copilot drafts that never send themselves
Follow up outside the widget.
Set rules for new conversations, incoming messages, escalations, and quiet threads. Replies can continue by email. When a handoff leaves Clickalong, Slack gets the alert or Zendesk gets a private ticket.
- Workflow rules
- Business hours and proactive messages
- Replies that continue by email
- Slack escalation handoff
- Zendesk ticket handoff
See what support is missing.
The dashboard reports conversation volume, satisfaction, article votes, and tour completion. Its fix list links back to the conversations behind each recommendation, so you can check the evidence yourself.
- Volume, resolution, deflection, and CSAT
- Tour completion funnels
- Article feedback
- A fix list tied to real conversations
- Document, tour, and answer recommendations
Give customers another way to get help.
Publish the same searchable articles in the widget and on an indexable help site. A configurable contact form stores leads and can offer an external booking page after the form is saved.
- Public help center
- In-widget article search
- Helpful and not-helpful votes
- Custom lead fields
- External booking handoff
- Voice dictation in the widget
Keep products separate. Connect the tools around them.
An organization lets the same team manage several workspaces without mixing customer data. Each workspace has its own widget, knowledge, tours, integrations, API tokens, and developer surface.
- Multi-workspace organizations
- Workspace roles and isolated customer data
- Scoped Developer API and OpenAPI
- Signed outbound webhooks
- Published TypeScript SDK
straight answers
What you’re probably thinking.
Everything below is the same worry we had before we put Clickalong in front of our own customers.
“AI support just frustrates people.”
Clickalong answers only from documents you approve, cites the one it used, and refuses to invent the rest. When it is not confident, it stops guessing and brings in your team with the whole conversation attached.
“Our interface changes every week. Tours will just break.”
When a recorded target moves, Clickalong looks for a safe replacement before it plays. If it still cannot find the button, the tutor reads the live screen and talks the user through it instead of failing.
“We haven't written any docs.”
Import your website, Notion, or GitHub docs and you have a knowledge base by lunch. After that, one click turns a real support conversation into an article your team reviews first.
“We're not paying per seat and per resolution.”
You will not. Pro is $49 a workspace with ten teammates and 3,000 AI answers included. There is no per-seat charge and no charge per resolved ticket.
“This will need an engineer for a week.”
One script tag installs the widget, and bundled apps can use the SDK instead. Tours are recorded by clicking through your own app in Chrome. Documents are plain text.
“Where does our data actually go?”
Your documents ground every answer, and nothing else does. Payload logging and caching stay off with our AI providers, and the specifics are written down on the security page.
Still deciding? The security page has the data handling in full, and the comparison pages say where other tools beat us.

questions
What people ask before signing up.
What is Clickalong?
Clickalong is an AI tutor for SaaS products. It answers your users' questions from the help docs you approve, walks them through tasks with guided tours over your real interface, and hands the conversation to your team's shared inbox when a human is needed.
How is Clickalong different from chat widgets like Intercom or Crisp?
Classic support widgets answer in text and usually charge per seat or per AI resolution. Clickalong can also show. Guided tours spotlight the actual buttons in your app and advance as the user clicks. Pricing is flat: $49 per workspace per month with 3,000 AI answers included, and a free plan to start.
Where do the AI answers come from?
Only from documents your team approves. The tutor retrieves the relevant passages, answers from them, cites its sources, and refuses to invent what it cannot support. When it is not confident, it escalates to your inbox with the full conversation attached.
What are guided product tours?
You record a workflow once with the Chrome recorder, using real clicks in your real app. Clickalong replays it for users as a spotlight tour over their own account, advancing on their clicks. If your interface changed, the tutor looks at the current screen and guides them anyway instead of breaking.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
One script tag installs the widget; bundled apps can use the SDK. Tours are recorded in Chrome without writing code, and documents are plain text. Most teams answer their first real question within the hour.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 10 teammates, 200 AI answers per month, 10 documents, 5 tours, and a public help center, with Clickalong branding on the widget. Pro is $49 per workspace per month and adds 3,000 AI answers, unlimited documents and tours, and removes the branding. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial.
from the founder
I built this because I kept answering the same five questions.
I run five Shopify apps on my own. Support was the part that never scaled. The same questions came back every week, and every answer was me typing out a paragraph describing a button that was already on the merchant’s screen.
Help docs did not fix it. Nobody reads a doc when they are stuck halfway through a task. A chatbot did not fix it either. It just described the same button in different words.
So I built the thing I actually wanted. Something that stops explaining and points. Clickalong runs inside AIMP and Canvaloom today, answering merchant questions from my own docs and walking people to the button when words are not enough. It is the same product you would install.
If that is your problem too, the free plan is a real one. Start there.
